After today, I had attended the first lectures for all the 4 modules. So how is it?
Core modules:
(1) EE 2005 Electronics
Remarks: It seems not that an easy module. Textbook is very heavy, around 1100 pages and also costs very expensive, around S$40.00+. An open-book exam.
(2) EE 2006 Digital Designs
Remarks: It seems to be an easy module. To me, the first lecture is a recap of what I had learnt during my poly year 1 Degital Electronics, all those 0 and 1, octal, hexadecimal etc. Textbook is the most expensive of the 4 modules, S$49.10 (before discount).
Bridging modules:
(3) MA 1301 Introduction to Mathematics
Remarks: A very ‘O’ Level maths, having to learn all those subsets, trigonometric functions etc, which I don’t really like it! Because I am weak at certain topics in Mathematics such as probability, geometry. Of course, there are topics which I am strong at such as differential. Textbook is the cheapest of all the 4 modules, costs only S$14.00 (before discount). An open-book exam.
(4) PC 1221 Fundamental of Physics I
Remarks: It seems to be a difficult module, having to learn mechanics and thermodynamics. The professor is very ‘ON’ lor! Textbook is also not cheap, around S$30.00+. A closed-book exam.
Have to travel from one school to another school to attend different lectures which is actually a waste of time sia. Still don't get used to this type of life. I guess that I still prefers poly life. Because in uni, nobody seems to slack. Life is not that FUN at all. And also can’t afford to skip classes!!!
I got to be more attentive, independent, self-discipline!!! Afterall, what I hope to achieve at the end of the three years is to get a GOOD Honour and a WELL-PAID job!!! =)
