隔了一个月多，
我又开始喝咖啡和茶了！
其实我不是很喜欢喝咖啡或茶的人！
因为咖啡很苦，
茶的味道很怪！
可是有时真的很疲惫，
没办法只好靠它们来提神！
否则上班肯定会打瞌睡！

Anyway,
今天可以不用睡了！
可以读完多两个chapters after completing one chapter during lunch time today!
Haha...

Then can go out and play!

觉得做学生很惨！
看到朋友去玩，
自己又不可以加入喔！
有好玩的义工活动，
例如八月的一个难得的义工活动也不可以帮忙！

最近呼吸又出问题，
一直打哈！
曾经医生有说过呼吸系统不好，
要constant breathing,
否则身体因为不够oxygen,
太多的carbon dioxide,
所以才会一直打哈，
让那些多余的carbon dioxide release through the mouth!
这样才可以有proper gaseous exchange!
Hahaha...
是吗？

Today was chatting with one of my female colleague,
she taught me quite a number of things recently such as must keep some knowledge pass to me from other colleagues to myself,
don't release everything to superior when he only sit there and took the credit from the things that I do!
Hehe...
But shouldn't everything/knowledge be shared?
Does it really matter do I get the credits?
Actually I can sense that people are selfish since I step into this company.
However,
they are not selfish towards me and treated me very good!
Maybe they know that I am new in this industry and I am lucky bah!

The other important life lesson that I learnt from her today was owning a car!
I asked her how do she pay her car?
Does she pay the full amount and what are the factors to consider before buying a car?
She told me that the amount was pay in instalment,
depending on your car type/size,
the initial amount you pay and the number of years you loan from the bank!
The COE is already included.
First have to think of the monthly expenses including HDB season parking,
car park fee at office which is $65/mth,
parking fee at shopping centres,
weekly top up of petrol depending on how much mileage your vehicle has run,
monthly instalment etc.
Then the yearly expenses includes road tax which also depends on your car type/size can be around $700+ annually,
car insurance which can costs up to $1000+ for new driver,
car maintenance which also depends on the mileage that your vehicle travels.

And I was like going to faint!
Alamak,
the expense of owning a car is so much!
So I asked her then why she want to buy a car?
She told me was because of the past project that she did,
the place was not convenient and very few taxis know how to go to the project site.
Furthermore,
she don't want to rush for the company's transport where the last trip was around 7pm!
There are time when at site,
have to work till 10pm.
Hence it was more convenient to own a personal vehicle.
So where is my first site?

However,
she told me what really matter most in considering to own a vehicle is not the expenses,
it is the STABILITY of your career!
If your career is not stable,
where are you going to fork out the monthly expenses?

Hmmm...
I strongly agreed!

She told me also car is like any electronic gadgets,
The value depreciate!

Once I learnt from one of my financial accounting module that:"Asset=Equity+Liability"!
So owning a car is a liability,
whereas owning a house is an asset!

So I want an asset or liability?
Haha...
Proper financial planning and saving start now!
So can own my first personal asset in 10years 11mths!!!
Almost end of last year,
gifted myself with my favourite Baby-G watch and iPod.
This year,
gifted myself with iPad.
Next year?
Actually planned to gift myself iPhone,
but after owning two I gadgets,
I will not consider getting another I product!
Most likely treat myself to a beautiful island after my final exam or wait for overseas volunteering opportunity,
but have to see workloads and number of leave that I am going to carry forward next year!
So for now,
must save as much as possible!
Bearing in mind that having proper meals and not skipping meals is also important!

Anyway,
I told her that there are car rental shop available,
so if really want to drive/for a few days of convenient purposes,
just go rent a car.
Haha...
She told me that I must be daring on the road,
especially when changing lanes!
Once signal and road is clear,
faster change,
dont't hesitate!
Haha...
That was one of my weaknesses when I learnt driving!
Another weaknesses is I tend to drive out of lane!
Lol!!!
She told me must have proper control of the steering!
Indeed!!!

Then I told her just take taxi which is a lot more convenient and economical which she agreed too!
She told me that monthly expenses for taxi maybe around $200+,
But who know monthly expenses for car maybe up to $2000!
Haha...
Ya,
Just hey,
Hey taxi which definitely is a lot easier and less headaches!
Or on-call taxi which used to be a habit of me last year -
still remember the midnight charges!
Hehe...^_^
